Welcome

It's a hot July afternoon.  The humidity is thick and sticky on your skin, making it impossible to more than just swaying back and forth in your porch swing while sipping your iced tea.  Even if you couldn't feel the heat, you'd know it's summer because the locusts are humming their songs in the trees, which makes you feel even hotter than you already do.  The forecast calls for rain, and while you can see the dark clouds on the horizon, they can't come fast enough.

But just as you're about to think about taking a dip in the kiddie pool in the backyard (anything is better than nothing, right?), the wind kicks up and snaps a branch off the tree and throws it into the middle of the front yard.

Finally.  The storm is here.

You put down your iced tea as the rain finally starts to pour.  You can hear thunder but see no lightening.  It's safe to stay out on the porch to enjoy the cooler temperature for a moment.  The wind is minimal, so you just lay back to enjoy the sounds of the storm.

You wake up an hour later to the sound of the rain still pouring off the roof of the porch.  A lazy Sunday, with nothing to do.  So you head inside the door and open the drawer to the desk and pull out a decorative box.

You head back out to your porch swing and pull the side table around to the front of you and lay out your cards.

In the pictures you see yourself in the many different facets of your life; all the different hats you wear.

In the cards you find understanding, insights, and direction.

It's in these quiet moments you have the ability to dig deep into your own soul and see things you may have never noticed before.  You are the archeologist and the cards are your tools.  And the rainy day is the catalyst to your exploration and the change that occurs because of it.

Because when we are busy, hectic, or distracted, the tarot isn't much help.  Instead, we need quiet spaces, quiet places, and places that energize us spiritually in order to make the real changes that tarot can bring about.  Because tarot is a spiritual tool, one that cannot honestly tell our futures or even tell us what to do next.  We have to look to the tarot for insights into ourselves, which is where the true answers lie.

Want to know what to do next with your life?  Let the tarot to open up that part of you that already knows.  Want to know where to find love?  Ask the tarot and it will give you a glimpse into your own heart, which will tell you the answer or give you a plan of how to change your own life in order to find the love you need and want.

Rainy days, walks in nature, being near a natural body of water, or even in your own home with gentle music and total privacy...these are all the places where the tarot works the best.  If you want to dig into your heart and soul for the answers to your life's most deepest questions, you need the right catalyst to do so.
Real answers only come when you are spiritually in tune with your surroundings and yourself.

Sure, you can slap some cards down on your kitchen table with kids running around at your feet, dogs barking to go outside.  And your cat laying on the table, draped across your cards (raise your hand if you've been there, I know I have!).  You may even get some pretty good readings that way.  But in order to get the truly meaningful readings?  You need to be invested.  You need to be moved.  You need to feel at one with the work you're doing.  Because being distracted or doing it "on the fly" simply won't get you there.

How can you achieve true spiritual investment? Well, that's what I am here to teach you.  Whether you are a person who has all the time in the world to work on your spiritual life, or you're single parent of multiple kids who works more than one job and has no time to do shit, I can teach you how to connect with those hidden deep parts of you that you may not even realize that are there by using the tarot.

The tarot isn't magic.  It's a tool of the soul archeologist.  You can use it a little or a lot.  Both will change your life for the better.
